Two new blocks in the South Village development on the Princes Highway have just launched with much anticipation.

Housing nearly 200 apartments, Escape and Liberty are designed to tick all the boxes for a mixed bag of local and out-of-area buyers.

Escape will have close to 100 one and two-bedroom residences, with some having views of Cronulla and the ocean. Liberty will have around 80 two-and three-bedroom apartments overlooking the park that is due to open at the end of the year.

“Liberty will appeal to downsizers who are looking to trade their large home for a spacious apartment, while Escape will appeal to young buyers,” Heard Agency managing director Paul Heard said.

The two blocks make up a small fraction of the 757 apartment complex, which also has a significant restaurant and retail space, including a Coles. A thriving community is already growing following buyers moving into two completed blocks.

Mr Heard said it is a well packed development offering a good design, quality builder and fantastic views.

The project is headed up by developers Deicorp, with teams at Scott Carner and Turner undertaking the design of Escape and Liberty.

Apartments in both Liberty and Escape have quality touches including premium floor tiles and wood finishes, while buyers will be able to select a light or dark colour scheme.

All residences have an open plan design, dedicated carparking and either a balcony or an outdoor terrace.

“They are the perfect turn key residence as everything is done for you and you also have everything at your door step,” he said. Mr Heard added that buyers are finding good value in South Village, compared to other developments in the Shire.

One-bedroom apartments in Escape range between $565,000 and $695,000, while two-bedrooms are $738,000 and $842,000. Two-bedders in Liberty are priced between $738,000 and $842,000, while three-bedroom residences start at $975,000.
