With three sons and three daughters, Jamie Grime needed a house with space — and that’s exactly what his Jilliby acreage, which includes six bedrooms, four living areas and a separate cottage, has provided.
Families on the hunt for some extra space may have just stumbled across their dream acreage.

“We have six kids and struggled to find a house with enough bedrooms for everyone. This has been perfect for us,” he said.
“The main bedroom is the same size as the combined kitchen, living and dining area, it is just massive.”
A room fit for a king and queen, the main overlooks a picturesque rural outlook and includes a walk-in wardrobe and ensuite.
On the same level there are two more bedrooms, a bathroom, office and family room.
Downstairs features a granite kitchen with stainless steel appliances, slow combustion fireplace, games room and outdoor deck leading to a killer fire pit.
“In winter, the kids toast marshmallows out there, and then move into the pool room, which is heated by the indoor fireplace,” Mr Grime said.

So much space has given the kids a chance to run around and enjoy the outdoors.
With three sons and three daughters, Mr Grime said that his family was literally the Brady Bunch.

Having married nearby at Yarramalong, Mr Grime and his family love the country lifestyle and don’t plan to move far away.
“There is such a community feel here — the whole neighbourhood gets together on Christmas Eve for Santa’s Runway, and the streets are lit by tealight candles,” he said.
