Jennifer Hawkins lists her private home for $20m: leaving Sydney
Jennifer Hawkins and her husband Jake Wall are in for a huge payday as they list their unbelievable Newport home that could send northern beaches records tumbling.
Supermodel Jennifer Hawkins and her husband Jake Wall have quietly listed their stunning Sydney waterfront home for $20 million.
The former Miss Universe and Myer ambassador surprised the Newport community with the news she and her builder husband were letting go their dream project to move north to be closer to family.
They spent the best part of three years building the luxury four-level compound on Pittwater designed by their favourite go-to architect Koichi Takada who had created their earlier home in North Curl Curl.

The property they called Casa Paloma sits across a double block of 3360sqm on Prince Alfred Pde with a private beach in Newport. It cost $6 million for the land and the construction, doesn’t have a formal asking price but it is believed expectations are around $20 million.
A sale at this price point should make the property the first $20 million-plus sale of its kind outside of Palm Beach on the northern beaches, according to CoreLogic.
The five-bedroom home has an indoor elevator, home theatre, private gym, pool and a walk-in dressing room worthy of a supermodel.
The kitchen has a reflective splashback so you can enjoy the view of the water while at the cooktop, there is also a pizza oven, a firepit by the beach and feature walls in many of the rooms.
Fans followed the couple’s build as they shared online every exciting milestone of the home’s creation from the formwork, the first walls and up to the completion of the dramatic sandstone wall at the entrance and beautiful staircase. The property even won an award with the Master Builders for Jake’s firm J Group Projects.
The couple welcomed a baby daughter, Frankie Violet, last month and had been gushing about their beautiful home and raising their family in such a special spot.
However plans seem to have changed in a hurry. The accompanying video of the property has telltale signs of the recent fires suggesting the decision to come to market was made quickly. The couple are now wanting to buy in the Central Coast area, close to family based in Newcastle, and preferable close to the ocean. It is reported they want to build again, with the same feel as Casa Paloma but on acreage just out of Sydney.
Christies International agent Ken Jacobs has the listing and said it was too late to undertake a formal marketing campaign for the two-year-old prestigious home this side of Christmas.
The landsize is 3360sqm and the property also has a boathouse, four-car garage and is right on the beachfront.
Newport has seen some major prestige property trade recently including a cluster of architect-designed homes on Pittwater in Mitala St each with $5 million plus price tags and two sales in Bungan Head Rd each selling for more than $7 million.
