It is now listed with BresicWhitney’s Nicholas McEvoy and Narelle Scott, who plan to take the property to auction on July 6 with a $3.5 million guide.
The Victorian era home has a wide 21m frontage and has a separate studio with bathroom above the garage.
This studio was used as the headquarters of Ms Wandmaker’s fashion label Piamento, which was launched in 2010.
The listing comes at a time when the Hunters Hill market has seen renewed confidence following a cut in interest rates and last month’s election result.
Hunters Hill has also seen its median sale price increase 6.6 per cent in the past 12 months to $2.887 million, according to CoreLogic data.
The property sits on a 727sqm block on Ferry St and has a swimming pool, landscaped gardens and an outdoor entertainment area covered in vines.
There is also scope to convert the dining room into a fifth bedroom, while the marble gas kitchen comes with Smeg appliances.
Despite being renovated, the house still retains many character features including high ceilings, original fireplaces and roof cornices.
The Ferry St property is close to the village, Hunters Hill Private Hospital and public transport.
