‘Captain’s pick’ ex-MP Fiona Martin’s discounted East Ryde home finally sold

Former MP Fiona Martin, derided as a blow in, in her electorate, has finally offloaded her $3m home but not without a few hiccups.

Common selling myths … busted

Former Liberal Party federal member Fiona Martin has sold her East Ryde house – two weeks after its onsite mid-August auction, which took place with no bids from buyers.

There was just a $2.9 million vendor bid, which was followed by a $2,895,000 asking price.

There had been initial $3.4m hopes for the five-bedroom, three-bathroom house, which after one week on market had been revised to $2.9 million by the CobdenHayson selling agent George Gialouris.

There has been no sale price reveal.
