This home came to market a year ago as an old public housing property the State Government was keen to get rid of. The new owners gave it a modern facelift and have listed it for sale.
What a difference a year makes.
Little more than 12 months ago, the State Government was selling this home as a tired old former public housing property with lots of potential.

A savvy buyer with plenty of imagination picked 31 Oceana St, Narraweena up at auction, and set about a major renovation, transporting the property into a cute-as-a-button modern home perfect for a whole range of buyers.
Christian Ryals, of LJ Hooker Dee Why, said the owners had undertaken a full renovation of the property, including a new kitchen, new bathroom, new wiring and full render of the outside of the home.
He said the renovation was a great example of what could be done with former public housing properties.
“These government ones were built to a very high standard and so there were good bones to work with,” he said.
The 659sqm, north-facing block is located in a quiet street, close to parks, schools, shops and transport.
The three-bedroom home has been fully renovated and has ocean views as well as dual street frontage.
It also has potential for a granny flat (subject to council approval). Mr Ryals said this was proving particularly popular with buyers.
The property is scheduled to go to auction on June 8, at noon. Mr Ryals, of LJ Hooker Dee Why, has more information.
Meanwhile, a few streets away, an unrenovated former public housing property still owned by the State Government is going to auction on Saturday, May 25, at 10am.
No. 32 Edward St, Narraweena, has attracted plenty of interest from buyers, keen to take advantage of the renovation opportunity.
It is the second public housing property to go to auction in as many months. In March, 67 Oceana St was sold under the hammer for $1.15 million.
James Hawley and Brett Evans, of Stone Real Estate Dee Why, who also sold this property, are also selling 32 Edward St.
