A FOUR-BEDROOM terrace in Balmain sold at auction for $3.105 million – a huge $355,000 more than what it sold for just over 18 months ago.
The elegantly restored period style home at 26 Llewellyn St was listed with Monique Dower of Belle Property - Balmain, who said: “This property sold previously in February 2015 for $2.75 million.
“The owner did not do much to it and it has now sold for $355,000 more, which shows huge capital growth in just over 18 months.”
The auction of the home saw three parties register to bid, while two actively bid in increments of $25,000.
The winning bidders – a family upgrading from a home in Rozelle – secured the property for $105,000 over the reserve price.
