Aussie pop star Troye Sivan’s family is putting their beloved home on the market in Perth – a location filled with personal history and fond memories of the star.
Before Sivan burst onto the scene with hits such as Happy Little Pill, Got Me Started and One of Your Girls, this Mediterranean-inspired residence was his sanctuary.
The property, located in the prestigious Dianella Dress Circle Estate, now listed under a private treaty, has been an integral part of his early career and personal life.

Sivan, who gained fame not just as a singer but also as an actor and model, once remarked that the most impressive and inspirational moment of his life was filmed within the home.
In 2013, Troye used the Dianella house as the backdrop for his heartfelt YouTube coming-out video, which has since garnered over 9.1 million views.
The property also played a huge role in launching Troye’s acting career.
His mother, Laurelle Mellet, filmed an audition tape within its walls that won him the part of young Logan in Hugh Jackman’s 2008 Wolverine movie.
The Rush singer’s career has soared since, with notable acting performances alongside Nicole Kidman, Sir Ian McKellen and John Cleese.
He has also been named GQ Australian man of the year, won the 2023 ARIA song of the year for Rush, and has performed alongside mega pop star Taylor Swift.
Sivan’s parents, Laurelle and Shaun Mellet have since relocated to Melbourne, using the Dianella home as their Perth base during visits.
With Troye now living between Melbourne and the US, and upcoming gigs in Perth at Spilt Milk, the family has decided it’s time to move on from their cherished home.
The home sits on a generous 807sq m block and boasts a blend of formal and informal entertainment areas, five bedrooms plus a study, ducted airconditioning, a pool, and a double garage — with additional secured parking for a boat, trailer, or caravan.
EQ Realty managing director Erit David described the property as a “Grand Mediterranean-Style Family Home with Timeless Architecture and Spectacular City Views.”
She noted the little cosmetic work needed offers potential buyers the chance to personalise the home to their tastes.
Ms David said due to its current use as an Airbnb and tenant occupation, inspections are by appointment only.
“We’re conducting a semi-off-market approach until a full-blown campaign can launch in January,” she said.
