Want to call a global pop star your landlord? After failing to find a buyer for her stunning LA residence, Rihanna has decided to put her home up for rent.

After failing to find a buyer for her stunning LA residence, pop star Rihanna has now put her home up for rent.

The 31-year old’s Hollywood Hills house is now available to rent at almost $AUD 50,000 per month.

It had previously been listed for sale late last year, with an asking price of $AUD 10.7 million.

The six-bedroom, ten-bathroom Mediterranean estate is situated behind a private, gated entry, on a sizeable block of land for the area.

The contemporary-style main house boasts a billiards room. fully-decked out movie cinema, while the guesthouse is set up as a fully functional gym.

The sweeping abode has a detached pool house.

Outside, there’s an infinity pool, spa and multiple lounging areas, plus views of Sunset Strip.

The international style icon, who has a range of beauty, fashion and fragrance lines, bought the home in 2017 for $AUD 9.66 million.

The home will not have fond memories for Rihanna, after an intruder reportedly managed to disable the security system and break into the house in 2018.

Bargain country home comes with a catch

It continues a string of bad luck in the property game for the pop star, after she shelled out $AUD 9.8 million for a four-bedroom pad in Beverly Hills in 2009, only to sell it at a loss two years later for a substantial loss at $AUD 7.53 million.

While living there, a mild rainstorm reportedly caused a flood inside, which led to a lawsuit against the previous owner, the home inspection firm, her real estate agent and others.

Years later, while living in a home in the Pacific Palisades, Rihanna had an issue with stalkers showing up.

In addition to the Hollywood Hills house that’s now up for rent, the artist, whose real name is Robyn Fenty, owns another LA abode: a three-bedroom apartment inside the Century condos, which she scooped up in 2014 for $AUD 7.75 million.
