Housemates Brad and Adam create hilarious YouTube video to advertise spare room for rent
FINDING a housemate is a competitive business. So these Aussie guys have gone the extra mile to make their listing stand out.
IF you’re hunting for a place to live in Sydney’s inner-west, then look no further.
These innovative young Sydneysiders have not only placed an ad on a flatmate website, they’ve created a hiarious video to help lure their ideal tenant.
Brad, 28, and Adam, 27, have been friends for two years and lived together for half that time. Adam is the general manager of a technology company and Brad is a 3D animator who designs computer games.
In the competitive world of flatmate finding, the boys decided to create this unique video to set their listing apart, generate interest and have a bit of fun.
They’ve already had 15 applications, so get in quick if you like their style.
But before you get too excited, here are the important details.
Where? Chippendale, Sydney
Who? Brad and Adam ... and their mates (when they drop by, always armed with beers)
What? They’re offering a bedroom with ensuite for $330 a week or without the ensuite for $290.
Candidate? Brad and Adam would ideally like a girl to “balance out the testosterone” but they’d be open to accepting a guy too.
Special skills? Adam does karate and scuba diving. Brad creates video games and shoots amateur films. Both guys love adventuring in the outdoors, going on surf road trips and making videos of their travels. And beer. Lots of beer.
Specs? The house is equipped with a ping pong table, bar, leather poker table and a big balcony, perfect for parties.
Move in? The successful candidate would have to be willing to move in on September 1.
Oh and it’s worth noting that cream pie in the face is not an induction requirement for the new flatmate. Phew.
