South Sydney Rabbitohs legend Cody Walker has bought what he has called his “forever home”.
He’s spent around $2.3 million on the family home – a new duplex in Sans Souci.
The duplex had been on the market for seven months, with the vendor having sought $2.3 million to $2.4 million at its most recent guidance through McGrath agents Mitch Kenyon and Michael Viglianti.

According to PropTrack, the median house price in San Souci is $1.967.5m.
The house was built following the $1.9 million purchase in 2020 by developers John Papathanasiou and Jed Tiatco of the single-storey knockdown on its 754sq m block.
There was a $1.6 million development approval from Bayside Council.
Estate agent Thomas Tamine had been helping Walker in the search for “the last few months”, according to Walker’s Instagram post.

Marketed as “epitomising high-end luxury and contemporary class”, the two-level home has six bedrooms, one of which is in a self-contained studio above the garage at the rear of the 377sq m block.
The master retreat on the second level has a walk-in wardrobe, en suite with double vanity and double shower, and a balcony. The living area opens to the landscaped gardens with a lap pool.
The Bundjalung and Yuin man posted the purchase news to his 87,000 Instagram followers with his two children, Kian and Kade, in front of the sold sign.
There have been social media well wishes aplenty from his current and former teammates, including Jai Arrow, Blake Taaffe, Liam Knight, Thomas Burgess and Dane Gagai.
Rabbitohs hooker Damien Cook jested he “still won’t visit [him]” despite him just being on the other side of the Georges River from his Woolooware home.

The purchase is not far from Latrell Mitchell, who bought at Ramsgate Beach last year for $4,275,000 with wife, Brielle Mercy.
Walker, who has signed with the Rabbitohs until the end of the 2025 season, was born in Nowra before moving to Casino, in the Northern Rivers region, at a young age. Walker played his junior footy at the Casino Cougars before signing a four-year contract at the Gold Coast Titans.
He didn’t play any NRL games for the Titans, instead moving in 2016 to the Rabbitohs, where he has played 179 games.
