Well if your finances extend to $1 million or more, and you’re in the market for a new place to call home, what you money will buy in different parts of Australia can vary significantly.
From a unit in inner city to an entire farm in northern Victoria the one thing they all have in common is their million dollar price tag.
CHEAP HOMES: Near to capital cities
According to realestate.com.au there are 499 properties in the greater Brisbane area with a $1 million plus price tag.

The villa is among 130 privately owned properties in the five-star resort which fronts a 2km stretch of beachfront land.
The villa is east facing and overlooks the par 3 eighth hole of the golf course. The total property area is 225sq m.
In Sydney offers over $1.075 million will snare you an apartment in Kent St which has one bedroom and two bathrooms.
The apartment in the Stamford Marque has views of the Harbour Bridge, city and western harbour. It has open plan living areas, two terraces and an internal laundry.
Head to northern New South Wales and a four-bedroom house in Sallywattle Drive, Suffolk Park in Byron Bay has a price guide of over $990,000.

An apartment in Balfours Way, Adelaide in South Australia will set you back $1.15 million.

In Port Lincoln, South Australia it’s hard to find any properties which sit just around the $1 million mark.
