A LEAFY family enclave in Perth’s western suburbs is still the property equivalent of nirvana for most buyers if the top 10 most viewed homes online are a guide.
Realestate.com.au has revealed its top 10 most viewed homes on the market between July 2014 and June this year.
It shows that properties in well-to-do areas are commanding the biggest number of clicks in their lifetime online in the metropolitan area.
The list from realestate.com.au includes homes that were listed with their sales agents from 104 days up to a whopping 564 days - and the latter was not even the most expensive residence.
The most luxurious home in the most rare location - at 47 the Esplanade in Nedlands - commanded the highest price of $8 million in March this year.
The premium property set the new area record, pipping the previous most expensive local property by nearly $2m as reported in The Sunday Times’ Realestate liftout in June.
Agent William Porteous described the spot as a “triple-A location”.
Other factors that unite the top 10 list were that most were either new homes or had been renovated and extended to high standards. Many are now sold or under offer.
