IT’S shaping up to be another solid week of auctions following last week’s record breaking figures.
CoreLogic RP Data auction spokesman Robert Larocca said last week there were 3908 auctions across capital cities, the highest level ever recorded and 10 per cent higher than the previous record.
“Volumes remain high this week,’’ he said.
“There are 3851 auctions scheduled across Australia this week with 3226 of those in capital cities.’’
Melbourne has a significant 1570 properties for auction while Sydney expects 1204.
In Brisbane 172 auctions are expected, 127 in Adelaide, 82 in Canberra, 56 in Perth and 15 in Tasmania.
Mosman in New South Wales is the suburb with the largest number of auctions scheduled with 39 properties expected to go under the hammer.
