RP Data has released its latest list of Australia's cheapest and most expensive locations.
Median house prices currently range from $58,576 in Ungarie (NSW Central West) to a lofty $3.89 million in Perth's waterfront suburb of Peppermint Grove.
Sydney's eastern suburbs closely followed the West Australian enclave. Bellevue Hill clocked a median house price of $3.17 million, then Vaucluse ($2.94 million) and Dover Heights ($2.82 million).
Beachmere on Moreton Bay in south eastern Queensland topped the list for cheapest apartments with a median price of $91,112. Median unit figures jumped as high as $2.365 million on the most expensive list, led by the Sydney harbourfront pocket of Dawes Point/Walsh Bay.
Sydney suburbs featured strongly on the country's high end price list with six suburbs out of ten appearing for houses and seven out of ten for apartments.
