Lleyton and Bec Hewitt scored a grand slam of the property kind after a mystery buyer snapped up their glam Insta-worth holiday retreat.

The Palms at 13 Deodar Drive in Burleigh Heads went under contract on January 20 - 102 days after it was first listed.

It is understood the new owner signed on the dotted line alongside a confidentiality agreement.

The deal comes just after Lleyton made his return to the Australian Open, pairing up with fellow tennis great Pat Rafter to play in the Legend’s Cup doubles tournament.

Rafter and Hewitt won their clash against Tommy Haas and James Blake in a tie breaker.

The Hewitts have also been spotted watching multiple games at the Open in Melbourne.

The tennis legend and his actress wife listed their stunning Palm Springs-inspired holiday home for auction in October last year, three years after they splurged $4.305 million on the Burleigh Heads stunner.

The listing quickly went viral but the Insta-worthy home, which attracted more than 100 onlookers, failed to attract a registered bidder on auction day.

At the time, Queensland Sotheby’s International Realty agent Lynn Malone said there were a number of potential buyers in the crowd.

“There were buyers from Sydney and Melbourne, but I think they wanted to see what happened,” she said.

“The agents (Carol Carter and Blair Carter) are in negotiations with a Melbourne buyer now.”

There was also interest from Germany and the UK.

When contacted about the sale, Ms Malone made no comment.

Publicly-available property records show the Hewitts, who have three children, purchased the property for $4.305 million in 2021, with median home values in the coveted suburb soaring a whopping 34.7 per cent since then.

Ms Carter said previously that the golden couple were selling because they did not have enough time to enjoy it.

Back then, it sold for $3.75 million but after living in it for just over a month, the buyers listed it again due to commitments elsewhere and that’s when the Hewitt’s lobbed an offer to good to refuse.
