The Victorian Equestrian Centre is for sale.

Racing greats are among horse-lovers who have given the Victorian Equestrian Centre for sale in Beaconsfield Upper the seal of approval.

The state-of-the-art facility at 76 Beaconsfield Emerald Rd has trotted onto the market with a $3.3-$3.5 million price guide.

Owners Russell and Andrea Kennedy poured more than $2 million into facility upgrades before listing the sports arena.

Ms Kennedy said the new features had attracted a number of renowned riding greats who trained or taught classes there.

“Billy Raymont is a showjumper who has been ranked about fifth in the world, and he takes on a weekly lesson which is pretty amazing,” Ms Kennedy said.

Dressage champions including Australian Heath Ryan and Dutch rider Stefano Van Zuijlen have also held clinics at the property.

Champion riders Warwick and Robin Schiller also held training days at the centre in the past few months, Ms Kennedy said.

It took the couple three years to turn the 14.5ha facility into one of the best in Victoria.

“It was basically acres of rubbish and it was so run down when we bought it,” she said.

“We went through 18 rubbish skips before we re-sanded the property and added diamond mesh fencing from Kentucky.”

The indoor arena seats 170 people.

There were more than $2 million of upgrades.

Events and classes are often held at the site.

The centre including a massive indoor arena that seats 170 people, two outdoor arenas, 24 holding yards, 35 paddocks and a hi-tech sprinkler system. Buyers could also live in the four-bedroom log cabin residence on-site.

Homes and Acerage agent director Penny Verco said the couple had put their “heart and soul” into recreating the Victorian Equestrian Centre.

A four-bedroom cabin is included in the package.

Sweeping views horse-lovers would adore.

The property is for private sale.

“I believe this property would sell to an equestrian professional who wants to use it for themselves, or somebody who wants to run a rider out of there,” Ms Verco said.

“They don’t come up very often and the monster arena available makes this a great commercial investment, because you could run a lot of events.”
