There’s space to spread out at this beauty for first-home buyers
This Burbank Homes design can accommodate the whole family with its four bedrooms, two living rooms and two bathrooms.
The Chatfield 218 by Burbank Homes might be an entry-level home priced to suit first-home buyers, but it still has that essential second living room that many homebuyers are after.
Burbank Group managing director Jarrod Sanfilippo said the four-bedroom, two-bathroom home was a great choice for young families looking for extra room to grow.
“It’s a spacious single-storey design with flexibility built into the floorplan,” Mr Sanfilippo said.
The layout has been carefully considered and has distinct zones for rest and play.
On one side of the home is the open-plan kitchen, meals and family room. On the other side are the bedrooms.
The private main bedroom, with an ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, is nearer the front and accessed off the entry hall. The kids’ bedrooms are down the back, accessed off a rear passage.
A getaway separate living room overlooks the front garden and has a real sense of seclusion. Mr Sanfilippo nominated it as one of his favourite rooms.
“It provides an ideal space to entertain guests and to welcome friends and relatives to your home in a comfortable but more formal setting,” he said.
Down the back, the open-plan living area is a smart-looking communal space.
Mr Sanfilippo said open-plan living was at the top of most buyers’ wish lists because it supported the way modern families enjoyed spending time together at home.
“(This) open-plan living space and adjoining covered alfresco create a beautifully natural-lit central hub,” he said.
The kitchen’s island bench, with twin sinks and plenty of storage, offers a practical work space and convenient spot where people can pull up a stool to chat to the home chef.
“Whether you’re throwing a delicious dinner party or serving steaks off the barbecue, the kitchen is central to the purpose and the open-plan design is ideal for entertaining,” Mr Sanfilippo said.
Timber-look joinery makes the space even more inviting and provides warm textured contrast to the crisp-white reconstituted-stone surfaces.
The Chatfield 218 is available in a choice of seven facades, with the Nolan displayed at Diggers Rest. This facade features a fusion of brick, timber and neutral-toned render framing the doorway and windows.
A deep front porch adds impact to the entry and draws you inside, while the timber garage door is a stylish finishing touch.
