THE Block glamour couple Josh Barker and Elyse Knowles are seeking a tenant for their new South Melbourne investment property.

The reigning champs of the popular Channel 9 reno show have listed the two-bedroom Victorian at 13 Mountain St for rent with an asking price of $690 per week.

CoreLogic records indicate the pad passed in at auction for $1.37 million in May, and was sold soon after by Marshall White Port Phillip for $1.42 million.

Barker and Knowles also bought a single-fronted terrace in neighbouring Albert Park for $1.35 million in December.

Tenants will be able to move into the “pet-friendly” rental from Friday, August 10, according to the Hocking Stuart Albert Park listing.

The agency is marketing the property as “immediately impressive with its high ceiling and wide hallway”.

“Making the most of a corner block at the crossing of Iffla St, the house is drenched with natural light and is perfect for easy and low-maintenance lifestyle,” the listing said.

Knowles posted on Instagram in February that she and Barker had moved into their new home — later revealed as an 1880s Albert Park terrace near the site of The Block’s 2014 season — and had begun to improve it with a paint job.

“When we get the keys to our new home and Joshy paints EVERYTHING white !!!” the caption read.

Barker and Knowles earned $1.631 million at auction in November for their Coburg home, which they bought for just $600,000 in 2014 and went on to fully renovate.

The pair also pocketed $547,000 in prize money from winning the 2017 season of The Block, after comedian Dave Hughes splashed $3.067 million on their Elsternwick reno created on the show.
