Five-time Olympian Mary Hanna has sold her stunning Bellarine Peninsula home and equestrian training centre, listed with a $7m-$7.7m price tag.
FIVE-time Olympian Mary Hanna has sold her multimillion-dollar Bellarine Peninsula home and equestrian training centre after a short campaign attracted international interest.
Prospective buyers galloped in from overseas and across Australia to inspect the stunning lifestyle property at 80 Scotchmans Rd, Bellarine.
Charles Stewart, Geelong agent Andrew Rice said Melbourne buyers pounced a month before offers were due to close.

Mr Rice was unable to disclose the sale price due to a confidentiality agreement but the 24.28ha property was listed with a price guide of $7 million to $7.7 million.
“We had overseas interest and I had people from Queensland, Perth, Sydney and Melbourne and Melbourne buyers bought it,” Mr Rice said.
“It’s a pretty impressive place — it was probably the combination of the horse infrastructure, the quality home and the big water views.
“It’s top shelf.”
Hanna has competed in dressage events at every Olympics since Atlanta in 1996 and is one of just three Australians currently qualified for the event at the Tokyo Olympics later his year.
She and her husband Rob Hanna, who acts as an Equestrian Australia team manage or chef d’equipe, first moved to the Bellarine property 15 years ago.
Since then they have added everything the new owner would need to mount a career on horseback, including a competition standard indoor arena with a viewing area and staff accommodation, 13 stables and 13 paddocks with post and railing fencing.
The four-bedroom house is equally impressive, offering multiple living rooms, an underground cellar, marble kitchen benches, library and a swimming pool.
It’s designed a central courtyard filled with maple trees and a fountain.
Mr Rice said the property would rank among one of the Bellarine Peninsula’s best.
The Hannas are returning to the Macedon Ranges to be closer to family but said the property was ideal for someone who shared the equine passion.
“It’s suitable for anyone with Olympic aspirations and maybe for racing as well,” she said.
