A Jan Juc eco haven built by musician Xavier Rudd is back on the market.

Rustic recycled Geelong pier pylons, rammed earth walls and a curved boardwalk entry all add to the magic of the sustainable home just moments from Bells Beach.

Current owners Clarissa Ramsey and Rania Award have transformed the surrounds since buying the property in 2016.
They engaged a landscape architect to redesign the garden, adding a split-level deck overlooking a stone-clad swimming pool.
They previously told the Geelong Advertiser the home had been the ultimate Covid sanctuary but the time had come to start afresh.
McCartney, Torquay agent Tim Carson has listed the property with $4.3m to $4.5m price hopes after a selling campaign last summer failed to net a buyer.
He said it was an “absolutely stunning” home that was truly one-of-a-kind.
“It is so unique and I think the big attraction is the privacy, how it’s set down in the gully,” Mr Carson said.
“It is just everything about it; how nice and quiet is it, the quality, the swimming pool. It's just got such a great feel to it.”
Fashion designer Arabella Ramsay, who originally bought the house from Rudd, previously revamped the interiors, which have lost none of their rustic charm.
Rammed earth feature walls not only create a natural look but enhance the eco credentials of the house which has a new 16.3kW solar system.
The house has a contemporary feel in the open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, where a Cheminees Phillippe cast-iron wood heater and AGA oven are features.
The floors are American oak and polished concrete.
Dual sliding doors link to the outdoor entertainment area with a wood-fired pizza oven and bush views beyond the swimming pool.
There are three bedrooms, a rumpus room, study and bathroom on the ground floor, with the main bedroom suite upstairs.
The new owners will also get to enjoy hydronic heating, an outdoor shower, a chicken coop and an epic vegetable garden.
