Gerard Healy: Jan Juc beach house listed by AFL personality
Footy great and On the Couch host Gerard Healy has listed his holiday home, described as “one of the best properties in Jan Juc”. Take a peek at the interior and dreamy views.
Footy great and commentator Gerard Healy is booting his beachfront Jan Juc holiday home.
The former Melbourne and Sydney star — who’s now a fixture of Fox Footy’s AFL coverage, including as host of On the Couch — has $1.75-$1.85 million price hopes for 95 Ocean Blvd.
CoreLogic records indicate he’ll need to sell near the top of that range to avoid making a loss on the coastal-chic four-bedroom abode, listing its last sale price as $1.81 million in May 2018.

Healy collected a Brownlow Medal, the VFL Players’ Association’s Most Valuable Player award, three All-Australian jackets and three Swans best and fairests during his decorated 211-game VFL and AFL career from 1979-90.
Hocking Stuart Torquay director Leigh Hall-Sullivan said the 550sq m Ocean Blvd property was the third he’d sold for Healy in the Surf Coast town adjoining Torquay over the past decade.
“He normally sells one and buys the next one,” Mr Hall-Sullivan said.
“(He loves) the surf beaches and the lifestyle.”
Mr Hall-Sullivan said the former footballer had owned the two-storey residence about two years, and had particularly enjoyed spending time on its sun-drenched and wind-protected north-facing decks.
“It’s got multiple decks (totalling 150sq m in size), and one of the best views on the Surf Coast,” he said.
“You can see Torquay Point, Point Danger and along Jan Juc beach.
“Directly over the road, there are three surf spots. All you have to do to get to them is run down the stairs.”
The agent said he’d already received “really good inquiry” from prospective buyers — most of them Jan Juc locals eyeing the property as a permanent home — within its first few days on the market.
“They all know it’s one of the best properties in Jan Juc,” he said.
The township’s cafes, shops and the Bells Beach Hotel are all within walking distance of the pad.
Floor-to-ceiling windows in the living spaces and main bedroom frame the striking outlook, while also ensuring the house is flooded with natural light.
