Gerard Healy: footy great sells Jan Juc holiday home
Brownlow medallist and footy media personality Gerard Healy has sold his holiday home, dubbed “one of the best properties in Jan Juc” due to its views and position near three surf spots.
A buyer has swooped on the Jan Juc holiday home of footy great and media personality Gerard Healy.
The On the Couch host and 1988 Brownlow medallist — whose decorated playing career for Melbourne and Sydney also included three All-Australian selections and four club best and fairest awards — listed 95 Ocean Blvd for $1.75-$1.85 million in mid March.
It sold just 24 days later, after racking up more than 4360 views on realestate.com.au, but the price it achieved is undisclosed.

CoreLogic records show Healy paid $1.81 million for the property in May 2018, meaning he would have needed to sell near the top of his asking price range to make a profit.
Hocking Stuart Torquay director Leigh Hall-Sullivan declined to comment on the sale.
But when the two-storey, four-bedroom house on a 550sq m seaside block was first listed, he described it as “one of the best properties in Jan Juc”.
“It’s got … one of the best views on the Surf Coast. You can see Torquay Point, Point Danger and along Jan Juc beach,” Mr Hall-Sullivan said.
“Directly over the road, there are three surf spots. All you have to do to get to them is run down the stairs.”
The agent has sold three properties for Healy in the Surf Coast town over the past decade, and said last month that the ex-footballer loved “the surf beaches and the lifestyle”.
Jan Juc locals in the market for permanent homes had made up majority of the pad’s interested buyers, appreciating its outlook and location near the township’s cafes, shops and the Bells Beach Hotel.
In addition to appearing on On the Couch alongside Garry Lyon, Nick Riewoldt and Jonathan Brown, Healy provides special comments for Fox Footy and hosts Sportsday on 3AW.
