Vendors Daniel and Crystal Fear relocated much of the play equipment to the property when nearby Drysdale Primary School was looking to upgrade.

It’s been a hit with their six children, aged three to 14, especially during COVID-19 lockdowns.

Now they are selling up to travel around Australia in a custom six-bunk caravan and have listed the property with price hopes of $1.35m-$1.45m.

RT Edgar, Ocean Grove agent Brock Grainger is selling the lifestyle offering that comes with a renovated six-bedroom house, garaging for 10 cars and a self-contained unit with Airbnb potential.

Mr Fear said the family had transformed the home inside and out since buying it five years ago.

“It was all run down, with no fencing or anything. We have done everything,” he said.

“The playground was the old Drysdale Primary School playground that I used to play on when I was a kid.

“They were getting a new one and I said we’d take it away.”

Mr Fear said the location, just off Jetty Road, was fantastic for a family.

“You can walk down to the shops and schools and the boat ramp,” he said.

“We are in the middle of suburbia but we area rural property and the trees make it.”

Mr Grainger said the playground was an added bonus for young families looking for a lifestyle property close to amenities.

“It’s better than most public parks,” he said.
