New details have emerged about Tiger Woods’ secret romance with Donald Trump Jr.’s former wife, Vanessa Trump.

The golf superstar was “hesitant” to take his relationship with Vanessa’s to the next level, Page Six reports.

“He was hesitant at first because he’s got a good relationship with [President Donald] Trump, and wasn’t sure if this would cause any problems,” a source within Woods’ inner circle told the outlet.

“He friend-zoned her; they just talked about the kids and kept things pretty platonic and casual. Then, sure enough, feelings started developing on both sides.”

According to reports, the 15-time major champion has been enjoying a monthslong relationship with Vanessa.

The pair have been spending several nights a week at the pro golfer’s lavish Jupiter, Florida, abode, which is located just a few minutes from his rumoured girlfriend’s own home, Realtor reports.

Woods, 49, and Vanessa, 47, have spent much of their budding romance in and around the tiny Florida enclave of Jupiter. Vanessa’s former husband, Don Jr., owns a $US10 million ($A15 million) mansion in the area, where he once lived with ex Kimberly Guilfoyle.

While Vanessa’s proximity to Don Jr. could well have proven awkward, sources have told People magazine that President Donald Trump’s eldest son is “cool” with his ex’s new romance.

According to DailyMail.com, Vanessa and Woods, who owns a storeyed $US60 million ($A94 million) estate in Jupiter, began dating shortly before Thanksgiving.

An unnamed insider added that they have been keeping their relationship low-key for now.

“Tiger and Vanessa have been seeing each other since just before Thanksgiving,” the source claimed.

“She comes to his place on Jupiter Island. They’re not living together. She comes over maybe a few nights a week.

“They just love hanging out, having dinner, and schmoozing together. They’re sticking close to home, have decided not to make it a thing and go out in public. Not just yet anyway.”

Woods and Vanessa share another Jupiter connection: The golfer’s children, Charlie, 16, and Sam, 17, attend the local Benjamin School, where the former model’s daughter Kai, 17, is a budding golfer.

Woods has lived in Jupiter for close to two decades now, having purchased a 12-acre plot for $US40 million in 2006.

He then razed the existing mansion to make way for a custom abode, which he initially shared with his then-wife, Elin Nordegren.

That property, which remains Woods’ primary residence, is outfitted with everything he might need — including a golf studio and an expansive putting green out back.

Today, the property is estimated to be worth upward of $US60 million ($A94 million).

Construction on the property was completed in 2010 — the same year that work was completed on a custom dwelling that Woods had built for his mother, Kultida, in the same area.

It’s understood that the golf legend and his mum, who died in February, moved into their respective homes at around the same time.

Kultida’s home was constructed on two adjacent lots, which the golfer bought for $US1.1 million and $US1.3 million in 2007, one year after his father, Earl, died.

His mother lived at the home, which is located 15 minutes away from her son’s dwelling, for more than 10 years.

In 2022, when he was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame, Woods recalled how his parents took out a second mortgage on the family home so that he would have enough money to continue playing on the professional circuit.

Meanwhile, Vanessa resides in a six-bedroom, five-bathroom home.

She purchased the property in 2019 for $US1.3 million, according to records. It is now estimated to be worth over $US2.5 million ($A3.9 million).

The opulent abode boasts high ceilings, expansive living areas, and chic furnishings.

The chef’s kitchen comes with a large island, granite countertops, and plenty of storage.

Vanessa is understood to live at the home with the five children that she and Don Jr. share: budding golfer Kai, Donald Trump III, 16, Tristan, 13, Spencer, 12, and Chloe, 10.

The kids are also known to spend plenty of time at their father’s house when he is in the area.

The property is located just a short distance from the mansion where Don Jr. and his former fiancée, Guilfoyle, lived throughout much of their relationship.

The president’s children had opted to move their primary residences to the Sunshine State in the wake of his first term.

Don Jr. and Guilfoyle purchased their mansion for $US9.7 million ($A15.2 million) in March 2021, and it served as their shared abode for just under four years until they went their separate ways.

The home — which property records indicate is in both Don Jr. and Guilfoyle’s names — boasts six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. It sits on a plum 1.18-acre waterfront lot.

According to the original listing, the home underwent a “massive update” before it was purchased by the Trump family scion and his partner.

Located in the upscale neighbourhood of Admirals Cove, the home boasts proximity to a golf course and a marina.

The property is also a 30-minute drive from the Mar-a-Lago resort, which became the president’s permanent residence after he left the White House following the 2020 election, which Joe Biden won.
