Historic house ‘Love Terrace’ for sale in small town of Rylstone
An 1800s terrace, embedded in the historic fabric of a small NSW town and incredibly popular as an Airbnb, is for sale.
A historic terrace in the heart of Rylstone has stories dating back to the 1800s.
Love Terrace, at 15 Cudgegong St, was built in 1855 and is on the market for the first time in more than 10 years.
The restored mini orchard is described as a “historic gem” in the heart of town.
McGrath Central Tablelands agent Christine Shearman said the property had a lot of interest, with the price guide at $1.2m.
“Originally there was an orchard off the side of it,” she said.
“The current owner had owned it since 2012 and had done a lot of restoration work. It is also a successful Airbnb.

Ms Shearman said the home could suit anyone and was very “versatile” with two bathrooms, original and restored fireplaces and the “sentimental touch”.
She said the name “Love Terrace” dated back to when the home was built with someone involved having the surname Love.
The listing describes the property as a “historic gem”.
“This beautifully restored 1855 stone terrace holds a special place in the local community,” the listing reads.
“The property seamlessly blends original features with modern comforts, creating a unique and comfortable living space.”
