He and his wife have just sold their six-bedroom house at 11 Kooyongkoot Rd, which sits on a more than 1600sq m block.
Property records show the abode is in Penelope’s name, and industry sources revealed it sold in the vicinity of $15m.
Stretched across three levels, the residence was built in circa 1899 and later transformed by B.E. Architecture, with blackwood finishes, stone elements and coved ceilings throughout.
There’s also a wine cellar, mud room, home theatre, four-car garage and one bedroom with an ensuite can be found on the lowest ground floor.
Behind the main kitchen, a second, hidden kitchen is joined by a laundry with a drying cupboard.
Fireplaces also adorn every common area, including the library and main bedroom.
Outside, there’s a solar-heated pool, outdoor entertaining area, barbecue and vegetable garden.
Marshall White Stonnington directors Marcus Chiminello and Stuart Evans managed the listing.
Shortly after this sale, Mr Chiminello and Marshall White Bayside director Andy Nasr sold the five-bedroom mansion at 38 Monomeath Ave, Canterbury, which was listed with a $29m-$30m price tag.
The house on one of Melbourne’s most prized roads features a gym, sauna, cinema, study, two kitchens, a 16-car garage, wine cellar, wellness area and a lift.
The main bedroom’s ensuite was awarded the Best Residential Bathroom Design in Australia’s 2020 Belle Fanuli Interior Design Awards which has a large, freestanding marble bathtub.
