Described as “one of Sydney’s most iconic residences”, the impressive three-storey structure is at 12 Benelong Cres, Bellevue Hill and there are expectations in the $13m-$15m range via Paul Biller and Ben Torban of Biller Property.
Records show the seven-bedroom residence, which has harbour views, is in the name of Wei Wu, who bought it for the auspicious price of $5,928,888 in May, 2015.

The family had recently emigrated from China at the time.
Built by designer Lesley Santy in 1977 in the Hollywood Regency style, Chateau de Benelong had a major reno in 2011.
