There’s a lot to love about this picture-perfect Paddo cottage, from its double-fronted period facade to its rare backyard pool, but the fact that fashion icon Collette Dinnigan masterminded the interiors is the icing on the designer cake.

Dinnigan sold the four-bedroom house near the corner of Paddington and Elizabeth Sts for $6.5m in 2015 after almost a decade in the home.

She had paid $4.45m for the 379sq m property in 2009.

Dinnigan had purchased it from jewellery heir, Peter Bracher of the Paspaley Pearl family, who had himself set a local price record when he’d snapped it up in 1989 for $1.075m.
