Elvis lived in the mansion in the early 1970s, and it was the last home he shared with his wife Priscilla Presley and their daughter Lisa Marie before the couple filed for divorce in 1973.
“Beautifully situated at the corner of Ladera and Monovale Drive in Holmby Hills, this 1.6-acre property offers unlimited possibilities. A long private drive leads up to a motor court and a stately Tudor Revival house with leaded glass mullion windows, imposing archways and high-pitched roof,” The Realtor listing reads.
The 1930s mansion itself was sold for $US20 million ($A27.43 million) last week, while the adjoining parcel of land was sold for a further $US9.3 million ($A12.76 million) and as such the sale was also marketed as a “spectacular development opportunity”.

Why it’s the best time for renters in 13 years
The estate has underdone a series of renovations and transformations since it was built in the 1930s.
The Presley family enjoyed the New England colonial style of the mansion, which its original architect has planned. The couple was said to have spent plenty on building updates including to the kitchen and the second floor bathroom as well as putting in French doors in the living room to give the home an indoor/outdoor flow and to allow more light into the dwelling.
The home now has a faux-Tudor-style facade that wasn’t part of the original build.
The adjoining parcel of land features a traditional Japanese tea house and a koi fish pond.
According to reports the home was just bought by Ryan Hekmat and Jasmin Larian, owner of apparel brand Cult Gaia and daughter of the billionaire who founded the L.O.L. Surprise! dolls.
