Across the nation, dozens of small hotels and boutique lodges are for sale, offering househunters not just a new home and lifestyle, but also an income.
So if you dream of ditching the city for a more relaxed lifestyle, cheaper housing and shorter commutes, you may find your idea of paradise as a guest house owner in one of these postcodes.
New South Wales
With an asking price of $4.9 million, Nimbo Fork is a 39ha property 16kms north of Tumut in rural New South Wales. The lodge at the foot hills of the Snowy Mountains and Kosciusko National Park is a popular spot for fly fishing.

Victoria
