His beach house is a classic Queensland cottage on a 455sq m waterfront block, with the lawn rolling straight onto the sand.
The two-storey three-bedroom beachfront home will be available for a six month lease period.
Rent has been set at just $600 a week, a surprisingly affordable sum given the current tight vacancy rates all across the state.
PropTrack data shows $600 a week is the median asking rent for three bedroom homes in the suburb, not all of which have the beautiful views and beach access that Mr Cassar-Daley’s property does.
It was listed for rent on realestate.com.au less than a week ago as a “dream beach location”.
“You can’t get much closer to the water than this wonderfully positioned beach cottage,” was how his real estate agent described it.
The property will be available for rent on July 12 with bond set at $2,400.

Property records show Mr Cassar-Daley and his wife Laurel have owned the beach house which falls within the Greater Brisbane region for over 27 years, buying it for $225,000 in 1997.
Between The Fires is Mr Cassar-Daley’s 12th album and said to be “fuelled creatively by the heartbreaking loss of his beloved mother and the very real fear of almost losing his marriage”.
“It’s a very grown-up record,” was how Mr Cassar-Daley labelled it in a statement. “It ain’t no walk in the park I can tell you! It’s a ray of light, truth and one I would class as a mourning album for a night time listen.”
