The backers of a $72m residential project in Ash Barty’s beloved neighbourhood are set to release the first tranche of terrace homes to market in July.

The backers of a $72m residential project in Ash Barty’s beloved neighbourhood are set to prerelease the first tranche of 15 terrace homes to market in July.

Azure – the developers behind the $72m Oakmont project – said in a statement that the official retail launch would be in Spring 2024, just over 66 days’ time, but there would be an off-market campaign starting in July to register interest in the Signature Collection.

The Azure Group is set for an off-market release of Oakmont in July.

The Azure Group was granted approval for Oakmont earlier this year.

The 15 terrace residences in the prerelease are part of the Signature Collection, with the firm appointing YPM Group to sell all 61 homes that will be created on the eighth hole of the Greg Norman-designed Brookwater golf course.

Brookwater which is famously home to tennis superstar Ash Barty, is a premium residential golf enclave with Oakmont set to be a carefully planned community of residences with loads of amenities.

YPM group director Bryce O’Connor said “Oakmont is set to bring an incomparable product to the market that we expect to be a hit with the owner-occupier market”.

Owner-occupiers are expected to be the biggest market for home sites in the development.

The site is at the eighth hole of the Greg Norman-designed Brookwater golf course.

Azure director Trent Keirnan said “we saw great value in this rare and enviable site in Brookwater and are committed to transforming this into a residential masterpiece that meets the expectations of discerning buyers, whilst remaining true to the Azure brand.”

Development approvals for Oakmont was secured in the first quarter this year with construction set to begin in the first quarter of 2025. The luxury estate was expected to be complete in the third quarter of 2026.

Mr O’Connor said “this development will set a new benchmark in Brookwater, bringing opulence and highly sought-after residences that are particularly rare in the prestige market”.

Azure has a $1.3 billion pipeline in South East Queensland, with six projects under construction including Elwood, One Five Six, Willow and Munro.
