Property records show Mr Evans edged his way into the local real estate market on December 1 when the sale of a Kanes Rd acreage parcel settled under the guise of P. Evans Property Pty Ltd, associated with Peter Daryl Evans.
Mr Evans, who grew up on the Gold Coast and went to school at Merrimac High, is a regular at the Tugun Fruit Market and last weekend co-hosted a Learn to Cook the Paleo Way workshop at Broadbeach.
Marketed as usable acreage just minutes inland from Hastings Point, it comprises two residences, a two-bedroom granny flat and three dams.
The main residence was advertised as having elevated views and breezes, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living room and more importantly — a traditional timber kitchen and outdoor entertaining area spacious enough for large-scale gatherings.
The second residence is believed to be an American barn equipped for self-contained three-bedroom accommodation, while a shed has been converted to a two-bedroom granny flat.
Mr Evans did not return calls yesterday while selling agent Jamie Wilmen, area manager at Raine & Horne Pottsville, declined to comment.
