Vendor Melinda Munns said she and her partner Ross renovated the main house from “top to bottom” when they purchased it in 2015, but strove to highlight its original features.
“The beautiful solid stone wall at the front was what I fell in love with and felt this had to be a key part of the house,” Ms Munns said.
“We sourced where the original stone came from and matched it as features of the extension to really tie everything together.”
High ceilings, solid stone walls, exposed roof beams and floor-to-ceiling windows are some of the luxurious features throughout the abode.
The kitchen includes Caesarstone benchtops, double dishwashers, an induction cooktop, and an oversized scullery with a separate sink.
Slip through the bi-fold doors to the outdoor entertaining area which has a fully-equipped kitchen, built-in barbecues, poolside showers and a powder room.
Otherwise, one can escape to the pool, spa, firepit, dam or paddocks found across the sprawling grounds — also home to alpacas Manny, Jet and Dave, who can be included in the sale.
A self-contained function room on the property was also transformed by the family from the original shed, which Ms Munn said had hosted many “16ths, 40ths” and even her friends’ events.
Ms Munns added many new features including a futsal court, tennis court and half-basketball court when they purchased the property.
“We wanted a tennis court and when we measured it out we realised we have this extra flat space available. Then we thought, why not turn it into something usable,” she said.
“My boys loved soccer so it became a mini futsal court so a bit of fun; they can get out there and kick goals to either end.
“We (also) did things like the pool, it begged an infinity edge pool with the view.”
She added that they were looking to downsize and move to Berwick now that their kids were planning to fly the coop soon.
Belle Property Berwick principal Anne Haynes said the property had garnered “good interest” so far, with many who walked through loving the views that spanned all the way to the Mornington Peninsula.
“It’s a seven-day getaway; you could create an arena if you wanted to,” Ms Haynes said.
Expressions of interest close at 5pm on October 2.
