$31.7 million mansion boasts private jet hangar, 11 bathrooms but only 3 bedrooms
This $31.7 million mansion has every amenity imaginable — including 11 bathrooms — but its sorely lacking one very important thing.
A $A31.7 million ($US19.5 million) Arizona mansion that has been decked out with a truly astounding array of amenities has been hailed as an introvert’s paradise thanks to its somewhat comically tiny number of bedrooms.
While the airpark property features a laundry list of upscale features — from a private jet hangar and taxiway to an indoor shooting range and multiple swimming pools — its 1486 sqm main residence offers just three bedrooms.
Certainly, the lack of bedrooms is not the result of limited space, particularly given that the listing notes there are a staggering 11 bathrooms inside the abode, meaning that there are almost four bathrooms for every bedroom.
It could well be that the mastermind behind the opulent Spanish-style dwelling, which is known as Misión Veintidós, felt the expanse of space inside the home was better suited to more entertaining design options, such as a bowling alley, wine cellar, walk-in vault, and private bar.
Or perhaps the property’s private jet hangar, which is set on “a massive 350 feet (106 metres) of taxiway,” would enable the owner to ferry any guests back to their own abodes after their visit, rather than allowing them to stay for the night.

Whatever the reason behind the design decision, it has raised many an eyebrow on social media, where users were quick to joke that the home would be perfect for anyone who prefers solo time over socialising.
“Let’s people know they can visit, but they can’t stay over,” one person joked on Reddit, while another commented: “You don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here!”
“Lots of parties and very few overnight guests. I like this house a lot,” said a third.
The home is, without a doubt, the perfect party palace — particularly for a buyer who is wealthy enough to have a private jet on hand in which to fly in his or her lucky guests, who would struggle to find a moment in which to be bored while visiting the sizeable abode.
Every amusement imaginable appears to have been added to the megamansion, which was built in 2024 and is located in an exclusive airpark — a community built around private airports, enabling residents to jet in and out as they see fit, without ever having to visit a public airport.
In the case of this airpark property, there is ample room for multiple aircraft, should the owner’s bank account allow for such an extravagance, courtesy of the 929 sqm main hangar that is included in the sale.
Moving to the main residence, which has been built around an expansive courtyard space, guests are greeted with an expansive eat-in kitchen that (somewhat ironically) boasts enough space to seat up to 10 people around two enormous islands.

The kitchen, which is open-plan, also features an incredible view of the aeroplane hangar, courtesy of the arched wall that features large, retractable windows.
If outdoor dining is more your style, however, you need only head a few feet out of the retractable glass wall in order to reach the covered full kitchen that sits under a “mission-style bell tower” outside of the main house.
Other exterior highlights of the home’s 2-acre plot include a lit pickleball court, basketball court, putting green, and sand volleyball court — amenities that almost rival the veritable amusement park that can be found in the 464 sqm basement.
There, guests will have the option of hitting the lanes at the bowling alley, putting their skills to the test at the 23-metre indoor shooting range or teeing off at the Tiger Woods golf simulator, all of which are located alongside a walk-in vault and wine cellar.

Unsurprisingly, the bedrooms are the final feature to appear in the listing description, which notes that the 286 sqm primary suite is detached from the home and features “custom his and hers walk-in closets,” separate bathrooms, a walk-in shower, and a large bathtub.
On a more practical note, the listing explains that the home has been built with 16-inch-thick double-insulated walls, which ensure that the home remains quiet and is also more energy-efficient — ideal in the Arizona heat.
The listing comes amid a rise in the popularity of airparks, which offer deeded access directly from the home to the taxiway, allowing homeowners to effectively turn their abodes into private airports.
For the private pilot or aviation enthusiast, airparks offer unparalleled convenience, cutting the time it takes to get airborne down to a matter of minutes after leaving the house.
When used for commuting, airparks can also turn a remote location into an effective suburb of a major metro located well outside easy driving distance, allowing residents to fly into the city several times a week for work, shopping, or recreation.
