Two people win massive $30m jackpot in Oz Lotto

Two lucky Oz Lotto players have split a life-changing $30 million. Check the numbers here to see if you are getting an early Christmas present.

Oz Lotto’s $30 million jackpot has gone off with two lucky ticket holders splitting division one.

The winning numbers were 28, 12, 17, 40, 36, 22, 33 and the supplementaries were 24 and 45.

They will each receive their prize just in time for Christmas.

So far in 2021, there have been 15 division one winning Oz Lotto entries, totalling more than $247 million in prize money.

Five of these division one wins landed in Victoria, four in New South Wales, three in Western Australia, two in Queensland and one in Northern Territory.

The last time Oz Lotto was won was at the beginning of November, when $50 million was split between two players.

“Imagine taking home $30 million in Oz Lotto and receiving your prize just before Christmas. That would certainly trump any present under your tree,” said Lauren Cooney, The Lott spokeswoman.

“We’re certainly looking forward to seeing if we crown another Oz Lotto winner this year.

“Our advice to players is to get in early and make sure you register your tickets so we can reach out to you straight after the draw.”

The last winner, a Mackay mum, purchased a last-minute entry into the Oz Lotto draw.

“This cannot be true. Oh my god. Are you sure it’s me? Really? Are you sure? Is this real? This is crazy. This is so cool,” she said at the time.

“It was a last-minute decision to buy an entry. I cannot believe it.

“This changes everything for everyone! I can’t wait to help my family. This is wonderful.

“And I’ve always said I would retire if I won the lottery – it looks like that’s what I’ll be doing.”
