One lucky Australian punter could become an instant multi-millionaire within hours – but you’ve got to be in it to win it.

There are two million reasons to grab a ticket to tonight’s Oz Lotto draw, with the lucky numbers drawn at 8.30pm.

To be in the running for the $2 million prize, punters must choose seven numbers before the draw closed at 7.30pm.

If the decision was too tough, you could have also bought a QuickPick entry to have your numbers chosen for you. But it’s too late now as the numbers have been drawn.

The lucky numbers will be drawn at 8.30pm tonight.

Tonight’s draw comes after a string of players took home eye-watering prizes recently.

This week, it was revealed that a western Sydney mother took out the “unbelievable” division one Saturday Lotto prize after switching her numbers for the first time in more than half a decade.

The woman, from Penrith, held one of the two winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 4079, with each taking home a staggering prize of $2,558,804.44.

The stunned winner told lottery officials she had purchased her marked 9-game entry online at The Lott.

“This is wonderful. It’s a huge relief,” the woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, told a lottery representative.

“I usually check my tickets on Saturday night but I didn’t this weekend. I woke up at 5am on Sunday morning and checked it then.

“It was unbelievable. So much was going through my head. This will change our lives so much.”

She said her luck changed after she decided to mark her entry with different numbers for the first time in six years.

“I play Saturday Lotto every week and I’ve been playing the same numbers for six years,” she said.

“But you wouldn’t believe it, it was a week ago when I decided to change the numbers I’ve been playing for all these years and that’s what won me division one.”

And last Tuesday, one entry also won the entire division one Oz Lotto prize of $12,552,379.

Seven winners also shared the division two prize of $255,944, with each winning ticket holder receiving more than $36,500.

Last month, the prizes were even more stunning, with a young man from Sydney’s west pocketing $20 million playing Powerball while a North Sydney woman was shocked to discover her $50 million Oz Lotto prize.
