Oz Lotto $5 million jackpot | Lottery draw results 1379
It has been a huge month for massive lottery prizes, and tonight there will be another chance to become an instant multi-millionaire.
The results are in for Oz Lotto draw 1379 — and someone out there could be $5 million richer.
The lucky numbers are: 29, 38, 18, 32, 13, 16, 39, with supplementary numbers 37 and 15.
Earlier this month, Aussies were captivated by two staggering lottery jackpots in the same week – and tonight, there’s another $5 million up for grabs.
On July 7, a North Sydney woman won a record $50 million Oz Lotto prize – the largest in a decade.
But the ticket was unregistered and the woman, who purchased her entry during a trip to the NSW south coast, failed to check her numbers for several days.
When she finally realised her good fortune and claimed her prize, she revealed it had been the first lottery ticket she had ever bought, describing the win as “beginner’s luck”.
She stunned lottery watchers by vowing to keep working despite her newly bulging bank balance.

Just two days after those life-changing Oz Lotto numbers were drawn, an incredible $80 million Powerball prize was claimed by a lucky Victorian couple.
Now, punters will have the chance to pick up a $5 million Oz Lotto prize this evening.
Oz Lotto draws close at 7.30pm (AEST) every Tuesday night, with the numbers drawn soon after.
There is a guaranteed minimum Division 1 prize pool of $2 million each week.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU WIN?
The Lott spokeswoman Lauren Cooney previously told news.com.au she had personally called winners who have scored a phenomenal combined total of more than $550 million during her time working for Australia’s official lottery provider.
She said it could take up to one hour after lottery numbers were drawn for officials to confirm a registered winner, and that division one winners of Monday, Wednesday or Saturday Lotto, Powerball, Oz Lotto and Set For Life games and first-prize winners of Lucky Lotteries were phoned by representatives who broke the good news.
Massive jackpot winners will be called the night of the draw, while others will be phoned the very next morning.
“We love seeing these jackpots shared – for example, with the $150 million jackpot last September it was amazing to see three people win that,” Ms Cooney said.
“Our ideal situation is when we reach out to them straight away and break the news then and there, so they can go to sleep knowing they’ve won. That’s what we love.”
While you might expect people to swear, scream or faint, Ms Cooney said the most common reaction was “stunned silence” and disbelief.
“It will often take quite a lot of convincing for them to believe they have won a division one prize – I might have to tell someone 10 times before they completely understand,” she said.
Sometimes, the winner still doesn’t believe their good luck with many believing they are being pranked or scammed.
