Man unexpectedly wins $2 million on the ‘worst morning ever’ in Saturday Lotto
The “worst morning ever” turned into an astounding $2 million win on Saturday. The Sydney man could hardly contain himself when he got the call.
On Saturday, a Campbelltown man’s “worst morning ever” turned around by winning $2 million in Saturday Lotto.
The Sydney player held one of the 10 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4099 drawn Saturday October 31, 2020. Each entry won a division one prize of $2 million.
When an official from The Lott broke the news to the winner, he immediately thought it was a hoax but soon came to realise he was, in fact, a multi-millionaire.
“Bulls**t! Who is this? You’ve got to be kidding me! I’m serious, you had better not be messing with me,” he exclaimed.
“I’ve had the worst morning too and if I find out you’re messing with me, I’ll be so p**sed.”
The happy winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning marked 12-game entry online.
The winner then confirmed the news himself by checking The Lott app and immediately burst into shouts of glee.
“Oh my f***ing god! I love you! Do you want to marry me?
“I can’t even believe you! Oh my god! This is the best news ever!”

The winner said he couldn’t believe the news after having the “worst morning”.
“It’s such good timing, you have no idea. I’ve just had the busiest and worst morning. This has really turned it around,” he said.
“I can’t even think properly. Oh my god! It’s the best day ever! My heart is pumping!”
He said he plays the “same numbers every Saturday”.
“They are favourite numbers I picked years ago using birthdays and anniversaries,” he said.
“I even checked the numbers and saw that a few of them were my favourite numbers, but I figured I’d just won $12 or something.
“I had no idea I had won $2 million!”
When asked how he planned to enjoy life as a multi-millionaire, the delighted winner said the first thing he would do was clock off work.
“There is no way I am going to be able to concentrate today, so I’m going to go home from work,” he said.
He added that he’ll be going on holiday as soon as the borders open.
“The rest will go into the bank, and I’ll have to think about how to spend it,” he said.
