Lotto winner reveals what she spent her winnings on

One Australian lotto winner has revealed her unique and personal purchases with her $100,000 winnings, after getting lucky in the division one TattsLotto.

Melburnian, Rachel De Oliveira, posted a video on TikTok last week, sharing her various and distinctive purchases over the years since striking gold in the TattsLotto nine years ago.

The purchases include a golf buggy and golf clubs, which her partner, Phil, bought for himself.

Mrs De Oliveira said she treated herself to having her breasts “fixed” by undergoing a “lift and implant” procedure.

“After breastfeeding my two boys they were left completely deflated, you could literally pick up the skin and shake it,” she said on TikTok.

“They were life deflated saggy ball sacks.”

The remaining amount, approximately $80,000, she said they put on their mortgage.

Mrs De Oliveira defended her and her partner’s purchases saying, “we wanted to to treat ourselves a little bit,” but that ultimately they were “very smart” with their lotto winnings.

“It wasn’t just us that won, the prize pool was shared between ten people,” Mrs De Oliveira said on TikTok.

“Of those ten winners one of them was a syndicate, which was the one that I was in.

“In this syndicate there [were another] ten people, so therefore the division one prize that was $10 million dollars got divided up ten times, and then our syndicate won just over $1 million; so yes I won just over $100,000.”

Mrs De Oliveira said the $100,000 “wasn’t life changing,” but said she was “super grateful” for the prize money. She said as much as she wished she had won alone, when you play in a syndicate your chances of winning are higher.

TattsLotto runs every week with a $5 million division one prize pool, as well as regular Superdraw events that reach up to $20 million or more. The weekly $5 million prize pool winners are announced every Saturday.

Six winning numbers plus two supplementary numbers are drawn by random from a barrel of numbers ranging from one to 45. To win, you need to match the six winning numbers in a single game panel.
