Lotto prize climbs from $5m after nobody won division one

Oz Lotto’s jackpot will increase again after no one took out the $5 million division one prize.

The winning numbers were 13, 21, 40, 11, 19, 45, 23 and the supplementaries were 36 and 44.

Last time Oz Lotto put up a $5 million division one prize, no-one picked the winning numbers, and the money climbed even higher for the following draw.

There have been nine Oz Lotto division one winners in 2021 and together they have won more than $146 million in prize money.

A Victorian woman won $5.6 million in Oz Lotto prize money on May 18, which is the closest amount to tonight’s draw.

The Endeavour Hills woman said she had been having a tough time and the lottery win was the first piece of good news she’d had in a while.

“Oh my god, oh my god, I am so sorry. I can’t stop crying,” she told The Lott.

“I am feeling so many mixed emotions right now. Oh sh**, this is crazy. I can’t even hold the phone right now.

“I can’t stop shaking! Sorry, I am all over the place right now. This is incredible.

“I’ve had quite a tough time lately, so this just adds some light to my life. I am so emotional. I need to hang up this phone and just break down.

“We will definitely help our family.

“I am sure we will go on a few holidays too. But otherwise, I am not sure. I can’t think straight.”

If no-one wins, the jackpot will continue to climb.

The Lott’s Ally Ramsamy said she was hoping someone would become $5 million richer by Tuesday night.

“We’re standing by ready to crown our tenth Oz Lotto division one winner of 2021,” she said.

“Who knows where our next Oz Lotto division one win will land. Will the winning light continue to shine on Victoria or will it go elsewhere?”
