Aussie pockets more than $20 million with division one Powerball win
The year is off to a lucky start for one Australian who has won big in the Powerball.
One lucky Australian has begun 2025 on a prosperous note after scoring a huge Lotto win, Perth Now reports.
The Aussie managed to choose seven winning numbers plus the Powerball, landing them with a staggering $20,809,257.29 division one win.
Division two produced two winners who will each pocket a cool $241,154.45.
Two West Aussies are among 57 division three winners who will be enjoying a cash boost to the tune of $10,519.80.
The winning numbers for draw #1494 are 21, 27, 9, 22, 15, 18 and 8. The Powerball is 19.
New Year’s Lotto luck comes after two West Aussies bagged division two wins of more than $44,000 in Tuesday’s draw.
