The Clyde blue-collar worker was brought to tears when he was told that he held the only Victorian division one winning entry.

“My family is set! My grandson wanted a dog for Christmas and I was trying to organise it for him, he can have all the dogs in the world now,” he said.

“I’m done with work! I’m out of here mate, retirement is calling.”

Three lucky winners took home an equal share of the record breaking $160 million Powerball draw.

Each division one winning entry gets to take home $53,333,333.334.

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1380 on Thursday 27 October 2022 were 10, 4, 12, 18, 2, 34 and 7. The all-important Powerball number was 7.
