The winning numbers you needed this week were 36, 40, 45, 11, 44, 17, 6 and the two supplementaries were 27 and 19.

Last week, two tickets ended up picking the right combinations, pocketing $25 million each.

One of the lucky winners was a Queensland woman from Mackay woman while the other ticket belonged to a 10-person Victorian syndicate.

The Mackay mum couldn’t help but swear when she heard the news.

“This cannot be true. Oh my god. Are you sure it’s me? Really? Are you sure? Is this real?” last week’s winner continued.

“It was a last minute decision to buy an entry. I cannot believe it.”

The woman said she already had big plans for her massive windfall.

“This changes everything for everyone! I can’t wait to help my family. This is wonderful,” she said. “And I’ve always said I would retire if I won the lottery – it looks like that’s what I’ll be doing.”

So far this year, there have been 13 Oz Lotto division one wins worth more than $197 million.

However, one past winner who scored a $30 million windfall last year warned that becoming an instant multi-millionaire also had its downsides.

The ex-tradie aged in his 30s previously told news.com.au: “What my motto has become, I guess winning the lotto doesn’t make you any happier, it just makes life easier.

“If you’re not happy, and you want to win the lottery (to change that) you’re going to be terribly mistaken.”

He had a lot of “weird” experiences when he told friends and family about the windfall.

“People have come out of the woodwork,” he explained.

“A lot of people find out through the grape vine, they never actually ask you. I had someone that I haven’t even seen since I was in school, probably 15 years ago.”

One very close friendship soured because “they didn’t take it well” when he told them he was now a multi-millionaire.
