One lucky winner of Saturday’s $2.58m Lotto prize has yet to be found
The Lott is urging everyone to check their tickets from Saturday’s draw to find the mystery $2.58m winner.
Anyone who lives in or has recently visited a town on NSW’s Mid North Coast and bought lotto tickets should check to see if they’re the mystery $2.58m winner.
The Lott is urging anyone who bought an entry in the Saturday Lotto draw 4471 at a newsagency in Nambucca Heads to check if they’ve won the life changing money.
The mystery player holds one of the two division one winning entries, and has won a total prize of $2,582,582.68.
Officials at The Lott have no way of contacting the winner as the entry was not registered to a player card.
The entry was purchased at Nambucca Heads Newsagency on 26 Bowra Street.
Stephen Kimber who owns the newsagency said he hoped the winner comes forward soon to claim their life-changing prize.
“We really hope our mystery winner checks their ticket soon and we wish them well as they enjoy their prize,” Mr Kimber said.
“We will continue to share this excitement in our store with balloons and signage for the coming weeks.”
The Lott spokesman Khat McIntyre said the winner might be ignorant of their good fortune.
“Our elusive winner is likely oblivious to the fact they’ve won $2.58m in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw,” she said.
“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Saturday Lotto ticket from Nambucca Heads Newsagency to check their tickets immediately.
“Can you imagine how exhilarating it would be to discover you’ve taken home $2.58m and are a multi-millionaire in a single heartbeat? Your plans for the rest of 2024 and into the future would change quickly.”
The winning numbers in the Saturday Lotto draw 4471 on May 25 2024 were 38, 22, 35, 8, 36 and 10 with the supplementary numbers being 11 and 23.
Both of the two division one winning entries in Saturday’s draw were from NSW, with this year’s division one winning tally up to 374.
Ms McIntyre stressed again how important it was for those who bought an entry at that newsagency to check their tickets.
“Make sure you check your tickets, and if you do discover that you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize,” she said.
