An Aussie supermarket is letting the public in on a little secret which can shave a massive chunk off bills, groceries, fuel and more.
An Aussie supermarket is letting the public in on a little secret – cash savings for those purchasing gift cards.
Coles is offering customers 10 per cent off coles MasterCard gift cards with a small purchase fee.
Shoppers can use the cards to purchase anything that can be bought with a MasterCard, like groceries, household bills, petrol, Christmas presents and or even a night out.
Until October 25, shoppers can buy gift cards valued at $250 with a small purchase fee for just $231.30.
Shoppers can grab a $100 card for $94.50.
Customers can save $93.50 when they purchase five $250 cards (purchase limit per customer).
Coles said previous rollouts of the promotion saved Aussies millions, with weekly grocery shops, utilities and service bills making up the top purchases.
Coles executive general manager for packaged grocery Jonathan Torr said the discount offers would help Aussies through rising cost of living pressures.
“We know this time of the year can be a challenging one for many Australians with heightened spending and ongoing cost of living pressures, so we’re always looking at ways we can help to make a difference to their weekly budget,” he said.
“The best part of this promotion is that customers can use the Coles MasterCard gift card on a range of purchases, plus combine savings at other retailers and put more money back in their pockets.
“This is a great time to take advantage of the offer as we start to prepare for Christmas and entertaining, purchasing gifts for loved ones or treating ourselves to a holiday.”
