At 0645 AEDT on Monday, the share price index futures contract was up 22 points at 5,274.

In Australia, the market on Friday closed higher as investors buy into the banks.
The benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was up 38.2 points, or 0.73 per cent, at 5,268.2.
The broader All Ordinaries index was up 38.0 points, or 0.72 per cent, at 5,303.6.
