WANT more proof that the Chinese love to live large?

Check out the country’s most expensive listing on the market: a 32-bedroom, 32-bathroom pad on sale for a cool $205 million.

Listed on real estate website Mansion Global in June, the 6725 sqm estate is located in Suzhou, China, just 100km northwest of Shanghai.

The garden home is nicknamed “taohuayuan,” meaning “utopia,” and it lives up to its title. Located on Dushu Lake, China’s biggest lake, the estate features a mist-covered pond, a swimming pool and massive wine cellar.

Even with its sky-high asking price, there are already offers on the table.

“There are quite a few overseas clients who have showed their interests in this unique property,” listing agent Juan Zhao Feng told Mansion Global.

According to the real estate website, the villa is the most expensive home in mainland China to ever hit the market — not counting a Hong Kong mansion that recently sold for $360 million.

The Suzhou mansion reportedly took three years to build. Similar luxury homes on the mainland have previously listed for roughly half the price.
