The wealthy will get the most back when tax cuts are introduced. But the massive bonus for the rich has led to a surprise reaction.

Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has unveiled Australia’s latest budget as the nation battles the “most severe global economic crisis since the Great Depression”.

The 2020-21 budget is designed to help the country recover from the devastating coronavirus pandemic, which has pushed Australia into the first recession in almost 30 years.

The main focus is on jobs and stimulating the economy, with a raft of policies regarding welfare payments, tax cuts, infrastructure projects, tourism spending and much more included in the plan.

Of the more than 14,000 people who responded to the question about whether wealthy Australians should be included in the tax cuts. surprisingly almost 60 per cent of people agreed.

Also, 62 per cent of people said if given extra cash, they would spend it.
